Smoothest ride for 80 dollars you'll ever get.
These struts are awesome. At first I was sceptical because it seemed to good to be true. I installed them with my brother and the ride is magnificent. I've had Eibach and other monroes and I think these are the best I've had. Considering price and overall performance I would recomend them to anyone. The packaging by monroe was not so great. The box had no paper or peanuts or anything to prevent it from moving around. The sender was great amazon was and always is great and UPS was fast. I got it the earliest estimated date. I would recomend to anyone wanting to replace their struts and want a smooth ride. 5 stars

What bumps and potholes?
These struts are a great way to put the 'Smooth' back in your ride.

First a little comment on the work involved:
The work involved was a "little' heavy duty, but Myself being in a wheelchair and an amputee pulled it off without a hitch in about 2 hours. The first one took me an hour and a half, the second 30 minutes. Most of the time was getting the car on the jack stands and the wheels off. On the first one I couldn't get the knuckle bracket to line up with mounting holes on the new strut. After struggling with it I sat back and looked and realized I had to loosen the sway bar link bolt, because I had just replaced those (thinking that was the ride problem)and they were actually holding the knuckle firmly in an upward position. After that it all went smoothly.

The Ride afterward:

We had put over 83,000 miles on our 1998 Buick Regal. The car had seen very light use for many years(thus the low mileage). We started noticing a weird grinding like...
Very impressive for the price.
These easily meet or exceed the comfort that the factory struts originally had.

Very smooth on the open road, and still able to cushion heavy bumps.
