Great upgrade from OEM shocks!
My trusty '96 Accord needed new shocks but didn't want to lower the car and have to purchase matching camber links. Monroe's shocks are very well made. I am very happy with it. Just be warned though, that this is stiffer than stock '96 Accord EX shocks, but well worth it! Especially considering the price! (roughly $100/shock)

Not Quite As Advertised
Although I specifically contacted and asked the manufacturer, this strut is effectively too short for a 94 thru 97 Honda Accord V-6 model. The front end now sits over an inch lower to the ground than it used to, causing the shipping tie down loop under the front end of the car to strike the ground when driving through dips in the road where it didn't used to. I now need to adjust the headlights up some to see adequately down the road. I suspect the reason for lower front end is due to the heavier weight of the V-6 engine as opposed to the I-4 version. But, as I eluded to above, I voiced my concerns to Monroe and they assured me there would be no issue. I would suggest they supply a ~1+ inch spacer/lifter kit to install between the fender well and the top of the strut to compensate for the heavier V-6 model.
Installed with ease
I purchased these for my 1997 Honda Accord LX. The perform great. It was nice not having to compress any springs ( can be dangerous ) I would recommend these to anyone looking to refresh the handling on their worn out ride. I even feel as if my suspension performs better than they did with the Honda factory installed suspension components.
