Plus One woofer cones
This patent pending technology deliver a cone with more surface area than competing models of the same size. The result is increased bass output and higher efficiency.
True Four Ohms
All Reference speakers feature two ohm voice coils. Original factory-installed speaker wiring in many cars is 18-22 gauge. This wire, and heating in the voice coil when power is applied, increase the impedance "seen" by the amplifier or head unit. The impedance of Reference Speakers has been adjusted to compensate for this increase and can be safely driven by any head unit.
Edge-driven textile dome tweeters
These are not commonly used w-domes, but fully-edge-driven domes like those found in better home audio speakers. The benefit is increased power handling and reduced distortion at high output levels. This technology also allows for better integration with the mid/woofer.
Rubber surrounds
This material provides optimum cone-edge suspension and absorbs distortions that may travel up the cone edge, adding stronger low-end.

ok replacements
There is nothing wrong with the speakers. They seem of sound quality. It's just that there small size prevents any noticeable difference in sound, at least in my experience. They are really quiet compared to the rest of my sound system and don't offer much bass. But you can't really blame them because of they're size. They are great replacements if your speakers are broke or of really poor quality, just don't expect a huge improvement in sound quality especially loudness.

Good Value
I replaced the stock speakers in my new 04' Chevy Silverado with these. They are replacements fur the column speakers and far out perform the stock speakers and the mids and highs are a welcome sweetness to my ears. Although these little guys don't have the bass I'm used to with ballsy 6X9's, they hold their own for such small speakers and I'm happy with their performance for the $$$.
I also replaced the fronts with 6032 s1's and surprised these ovals "sound" like they have deeper bass response then the 6.5" rounds. Maybe it's the doors or distance, but I can tell there is "lower" bass coming from these than the rounds strange as it sounds.
Overall they are a good value for the money and the improvement in mids and highs are what these guys are all about and they deliver.
I'm an old stereo dog from the 70's and I know quality from junk and these are quality even though they are on the low end of the Infinity line and will make a definite enjoyable...
Very Nice
Replaced the in dash speakers in my jeep. Had to modify just a little, but wasnt anything drastic. They fit well and I have absolutely no problems with the speakers loosening in the dash from off roading. They sound great, were priced well, and fit good.
